Scottish ClubSport aims to recruit four Young People (aged 16-25) to become part of a newly established Young People`s working group that will support the organisations Board and National Development Manager.

If any applicants do not meet the above criteria, we will consider applications from those who are prepared to join a Sports Council/ClubSport network upon selection.
This post will be appointed on a 2-year term.

What will you do?
What will you get?
A number of applicants will be invited to interview on the week of the 20th and 27th June. Successful applicants will then be invited to an induction and first meeting which will take place on a mutually agreeable date.
We are looking to recruit enthusiastic individuals with a passion for sport, community and/or volunteering. Applications from across the membership are actively encouraged at this time. We aim to widen the representation on our working groups from across the membership. The vast majority of meetings will be held via Zoom or MS teams and where face to face engagement is necessary, travel expenses will be covered by Scottish ClubSport. We actively encourage individuals from across Scotland to apply.
We are particularly keen to hear from you if have experience in, a working knowledge of, or an interest in, one or several of the below areas; (experience does not need to be within a sports setting)
Previous experience of being on a working group or committee is not essential. We ask that you have the commitment to work alongside our Youth Director and National Development Manager to support the delivery of the Young People`s Working Group.
The successful individuals will bring their knowledge and skills to the group, gain experience of supporting and advising a small but dynamic organisation and develop their personal experience in a voluntary capacity.
Successful applicants will have access to all Scottish ClubSport benefits and resources which include training programmes, annual conference and AGM, attend member events and have the opportunity to develop new skills, knowledge and experience. Successful applicants will also have the full support of the Chair and the National Development Manager.
Time Commitment
Approximately 4 hours per month. This time consists of working group meetings, preparation and action (before and after meetings) and any reasonable duties that are required. The post is non-remunerated but travel and meeting expenses will be reimbursed according to our policies and procedures.
Terms and Conditions
These positions will be appointed on a 2-year term with potential to extend beyond this time.
Expenses
This position is unpaid. All reasonable out-of-pocket expense incurred on SCS business will be reimbursed according to SCS`s policies and procedures.
