Congratulations to Rick Kenney

Rick Kenney, Vice Chair of Scottish ClubSport has been awarded with an OBE in the 2020 Queen’s Birthday Honours List announced on Saturday 10th October. Rick’s own sport is judo and he has been a Scottish and GB team member in the past, a Team Manager at World and European Championships and holds the high grade of 7th Dan. Rick has been a previous Chair of JudoScotland, Vice Chair of British Judo and is the current President of the Commonwealth Judo Association, having been elected in 2013.

Rick, who has been involved in the sport for 57 years, has been honoured in his position as President of Commonwealth Judo ‘For Services to Judo’.
